Brian Castaño says he will do everything he can to get his undisputed 154lbs rematch with Jermell Charlo out of the hands of the umpires following their split draw in July.
Both Castaño and Charlo said they felt they had done enough to be undisputed champions in their first encounter, and ten days after their Carson rematch, the Argentinian said this time he looking for a final victory.
Castaño said after the practice session on social media: “I believe I won the first match. “It may have been a small profit, but I won it. This time, we’re going to try everything to make sure we don’t let the fight fall into the hands of the judges.
“We learned a lot from our first fight with Charlo. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that sometimes you have to be more cautious in the ring. He is strong, but I will also bring my strength. We learned from the first fight and we will fix any mistakes we made. “I always fight whoever the fans want me to face. Give me the name, and I’m ready to go. I want to fight the best. Elite opponents are what motivates me.”
