Crystal Palace and Newcastle United were eliminated in the second round, while Watford, Everton, Norwich City, Wolves, Aston Villa and Manchester United were eliminated in the third round. Which teams reached the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup?
There are seven clubs left in the Premier League and only one team below, League One club Sunderland. Four of the eight quarter-finalists need penalty kicks up to this stage.

The London side Chelsea and Arsenal beat opponents in the Premier League to advance to the last eight, although Chelsea needed a penalty shootout to knock Southampton out. Arsenal made a story against Leeds United with a 2-0 victory at the Emirates.
League One Club Sunderland survived against the QPR champion team, also on the penalty spot. The Black Cats will have to cut their jobs during the quarter-finals when they travel to Arsenal.
Liverpool, Brentford and Tottenham they all won outright on the road against their opponents in Round 16. But Leicester City and West Ham United needed a penalty shootout to get past their enemies in the Premier League.
West Ham have eliminated four-time defending champions Manchester City, which means we will have a new team lifting the trophy in 2022.
