The College football Dish season continues with a series of top-notch matches on Friday, featuring Tennesseeimpressive win first Clemson inside bowl of oranges.
In the first game of the day, maryland defeated State of NC inside Duke’s Mayo Bowlthat means it’s time for a mayo bath for head coach Mike Locksley!
Pittsburgh followed that up with a thrilling win first UCLA inside sun bowlwhen Notre Dame come from behind to beat a red hot South Carolina team in crocodile bowl.
Here are the highlights from Friday’s ranking.
Orange bowl: Tennessee 31, Clemson 14
Go in the air!

Vols replied back!
Tennessee responded as soon as Milton dropped a picturesque pass to Ramel keyton for a 46-yard touchdown. The score gave Volunteers a 28-14 lead.
Tennessee scored one more goal on the field and then signed when Wesley Walker knocked out Klubnik in the late zone for a 31-14 win for Volunteers.
Gator Bowl: Notre Dame 45, South Carolina 38

South Carolina takes the first place as Spencer rattler threw a pass screen Xavier Legettewho scored in a touchdown at 13 yards.

Notre Dame replied immediately like Tyler Buchner called his own number, stretched 15 yards to score the end of the game.

Legette somehow kept her footing to finish the score at 42 yards to make it 31-24.

Braden Lenzy caught a 44-yard pass and turned it into a touchdown to end the game 31-31.

Notre Dame’s run back scored 39 yards to give Ireland a 38-31 lead.
Pick-and-tie
Just as the Irish were about to double the gap, O’Donnell’s Fortune made a big intercept at the goal line and ran back to equalize.

Buchner stepped back and threw his body sideways to expand Mitchell Evans for the 16-yard score. The touch gave Ireland a 45-38 lead with 1:38 remaining.
Sun Bowl: Pittsburgh 37, UCLA 35
Honoring an old pirate
UCLA coach Chip Kelly paid tribute to his late friend Mississippi State Coach Mike Leach, with a special sticker on the visor.

With a 3-0 lead, UCLA found the final zone first, because Dorian Thompson-Robinson establish Loya longan on a short scoring pass.

The Bruins received a big boost from their defence when Jaylin Davies catch Patti’s pass and return home 52 yards. Pick six gives UCLA a 28-14 lead.

After the sixth pick, Pitt switches to the running game and Hammond delivers. The back-to-back sophomore punched in the 1-yard TD run with 3:04 remaining in the third round to make it 28-21. He then added a 7-yard TD run early in the fourth quarter to end the game 28-28.
UCLA takes the lead!
Pitt scored more consecutive goals to lead by 10 points at the end of the fourth quarter. But UCLA responded as soon as the Bruins teamed up for an 8-way run, 70-yard run, limited by an 8-yard TD due to Hard TJ with 34 seconds remaining in the game.
GAME, SET, MATCH.
Pitt got the ball back and Patti got to work, connecting with unruly passes and making another 11-yard run to put them in goal. Ben Saul pierced the target at 47 yards with 4 seconds left, sealing the victory for the Panthers.
Duke’s Mayo Bowl: Maryland 16, NC State 12
It’s all about mayo
Honestly, the teams are all having a lot of fun, but this game is really about the appreciation (or not) of mayonnaise.

After Maryland scored another goal, the teams traded against each other before NC State won the ball back with less than three minutes and a chance to win the game together. However, Jakorian Bennett select NC State QB Ben Finley to seal victory for the Terrapins.
