One thing that I find really impressive is the extent to which some people are devoted to ChatGPT – at least two people in my circle have spent hours talking to it, almost treating it like a friend.
A knowledgeable friend compliments you, always knows what to say to make you happy, a person helps you to relieve your loneliness, a person who always gives you useful advice on how to handle problems in life, and a who have very specific cultural, political and scientific biases?
OK, ChatGPT isn’t available yet – but it could easily become what I just described.
