I must admit that I made mistakes in previous posts. I think tram fires burn at around 2700F (1500C), but if this article is correct, the actual temperature is more like 4900F (2700C).
What building materials can withstand such a large fire that gives off such a large amount of heat? Just looking at a hot fire can hurt your eyes, let alone try to fight it.
