Should you buy Hilton points during this sale?
Usually, when Hilton sells points, they take 1 cent for each point. But this bonus allows you to earn half of that at 0.5 cents each, which is less TPG’s valuation of Hilton points at 0.6 cents per point. Half a cent per point is usually the lowest rate at which Hilton will sell its points.
While we don’t generally recommend buying points without specific redemption intent, doing so can be helpful when you have a night or two left to complete the vacation of your dreams. In other words, if you already have 100,000 Honor points but need 250,000 points for a specific booking, using this promotion to buy points will allow you to book your vacation now.
