Britain’s hottest rider will head to Ludlow for a lap on Monday 🔥🔥🔥
Being a jockey has its ups and downs, no matter how talented one is. Harry Skelton only had to hop on the last flight on My Drogo on the first day of the November Meeting in Cheltenham to prove victory. He hit 1.03 in the run but grieving and leaving in the end. It was a bad race for Skelton and one he needs to get through quickly with some top races to come.
It was clear that the previous fall had affected Skelton quite a bit after watching Third Time Lucki the next day. Favorites 2-5 took the win but the driver’s body language was nervous and he wasn’t so great in a few saves. He had another fall on the Proshema at the end of the day so things were starting to get very difficult in Harry’s mind.

Whatever happened on Sunday, Harry Skelton is a mentally changed man. He gave Nube Negra a great ride winning the Shloer Chase and then gave West Cork an unbelievable ride in the Greatwood Hurdle. It was also great training as the horse had been off track for almost two years. Skelton said he had a nice chat with a close friend the night before and it made all the difference.
Moving on, Skelton now has seven winners from his last 24 rides and he’s gone to Ludlow on Monday with just one ride.

Stream Of Stars may be the favorite for this but Skelton’s will win with the current yard cat and Rock legend may prove too good for the day. The four-year-old is half-brother to Wicklow Brave and is behind I Like To Move It, the recent 2nd place winner in his first course debut at Aintree last year. He ran well on his debut hurdles in third and wasn’t knocked down when his chances were gone, so there’s more to come.
