Brave Chihuahua sneaks into cat’s bed for a hug
Contrary to popular belief, dogs and cats can certainly get along and live in harmony. This is not always a perfect match.
Cats are known to be quite independent, and if you have both a cat and a dog in your home, you know how much cats value time alone.
That’s not to say they don’t enjoy hanging out with the family dog, but they certainly want to keep their distance from time to time.
Cats tend to be pretty precious when it comes to their chosen nap spot – especially their bed. Usually, you can see cats bullying into the dog bed, but you rarely see it the other way around. Our dogs only seem to know that a cat’s bed is just an impassable line. No matter how big the dog is, the cat is always the boss.
However, there was one very brave little rescue dog who decided taking a nap in the cat’s bed was worth the risk! Talk about nerves of steel.
Adorable little dog Peaches, a rescued Chihuahua, has gone where no other dog has dared to go before: the cat’s bed. And Peaches not only gets into the family cat’s bed, but does it when the cat is sleeping inside!
Peaches seems determined to cuddle Samuel the cat, and she won’t let the big cat intimidate her.
The owner of animals, TikTokker @leafygarnish, record it all on camera. All we can say is wow, Peaches is a pretty brave dog!
She approached the situation with great consideration and caution. In fact, she was carefully backing out of bed as if pretending she wasn’t really trying to get into the forbidden area.
However, Samuel was not at all impressed with her boldness, however, he did not kick her out. At first, Samuel seemed resistant, but Peaches persisted. She paused for a moment after Samuel growled at her but then managed to crouch small enough to tuck into the corner of the bed.
It was such a cute and funny video that it went viral on TikTok, receiving several million views in the process.
