And in the second part of the podcast, I talk about claims about the supposed weather data gap over the Pacific. Such a lack of weather data existed 60 years ago, but not anymore.
Today, huge amounts of satellite, aircraft, and buoy data provide vast amounts of 3D weather data around the world (see examples below) and form the basis for a huge improvement in weather prediction. . I provide details in the podcast.
