Bark in the Park 2024 Major League Baseball Game

Spring is just around the corner which means the boys of summer will soon be back on the playground! Many major league baseball teams are hosting special dog-themed games during the 2024 season, so be sure to “throw” the idea of attending a Bark in the Park game to your baseball-loving pooch !
Arizona
Summer days for Arizona Diamondbacks
On April 16, the Diamondbacks will take to the ballpark to take on the Chicago Cubs in the Bark at the Park game.
Before the first game, pups and their pet parents can participate in the pre-game parade, and when the game is over, sports-loving Spots will go home with a goody bag!
An interesting thing is that a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to Joybound.

California
San Diego Padres at The Barkyard
Baseball lovers and their barking friends can watch their favorite team play April 3 (against the St. Louis Cardinals), April 30 (vs. Cincinnati Reds), July 9 (vs. Seattle Mariners) and August 12 (vs. Pittsburgh Pirates) in special Bark At The Park games.
Each dog-friendly event not only includes special treats or a toy for attendees, but also includes a donation to Petco Love for every ticket purchased.
While the Padres invite pups to special Bark At The Park games each year, pups whose foster parents purchase special seats in The Barkyard can clock all Padres games played at Petco Park. Families with dogs can fill out an online form to get on the waiting list for their desired opening opportunity.
Dog Day San Francisco
A true game-changer for dogs and cats in need, a portion of the proceeds from both Dog Days events will benefit the San Francisco SPCA.
Dogs attending the April 27 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates will receive a dog collar, and dogs attending the September 28 game against the St. Louis Cardinals will receive a dog collar. Louis Cardinals will receive a dog leash to take home.
Before their first game, costumed pups can walk the playground in a parade!
Florida
Miami Marlins Bark at the Park
Puppies and pet parents can watch all the action from the Stroll Level as the Marlins host 11 Bark events at The Park:
- April 1–vs. Los Angeles Angels
- April 15–vs. San Francisco Giants
- April 29–vs. Washington Nationals
- May 20–vs. Milwaukee Brewers
- June 2– Texas Rangers game will include a donation to the Greater Miami Humane Society.
- June 17– vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- July 7–vs. Chicago White Sox
- July 22 – Miami Animal Rescue will benefit when the Marlins play the New York Mets
- August 5–vs. Cincinnati Reds
- August 19–vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
- September 8– In the final Bark game at The Park of the 2024 season, Miami Animal Rescue will benefit as the team faces the Philadelphia Phillies
Tampa Bay Rays Dog Day at The Rays
Dogs will sit in catbird seats when the Rays play ball with the San Francisco Giants on April 14. After watching players slide into home bases, tailwaggers will go home with a Day-themed gift. dog.
state of Maryland
Baltimore Orioles Bark at Orioles Park
Sports-loving dogs can watch the Orioles play on April 16 and September 18!
Michigan
Detroit Tigers Bark in the park
Helping dogs and cats looking for a forever “home team,” a donation to Michigan Humane will be made when the Detroit Tigers play on April 30, May 14, September 10 and 25 September.
Pups in attendance will receive a special memento at each Bark in the Park game: a reversible bandana on April 30, a Tigers doggie bag on May 14, a Tigers dog food mat on September 10 and a Tigers-branded rope toy on September 25.
Missouri
Kansas City Royals Tree bark in the park
The Royals will once again reign in the hearts of fans when they host three Bark at The Park matches in 2024.
Puppies attend their first Bark at the Park of the season April 23 when the team plays the Blue Jays will receive a leash. The Dogs sat in the lower left field corner of Kauffman Stadium for Bark at Park 2 to watch the Royals take on the Detroit Tigers on May 21 will come home with a bag. Bark baseball lovers who attend the final Bark game at The Park of the year, with the Royals facing the Guards on September 3, will receive a plush toy.
Minnesota
Minnesota Twins
Welcoming four-legged fans for the first time in 2024, on April 22, pet parents and their pups will sit in a special section of Target Field to watch the game. Barking baseball lovers will also receive a Twins-themed dog water bottle.
Missouri
Saint Louis Cardinal Purina dogs in the park
The Cardinals will host Purina Pooches at the Ballpark on the day May 4, when the team faces the Chicago White Sox.
All four-legged attendees will go home with a Purina goodie bag. Food and drink for two-legged Pooches ticket holders are included.
New York
New York Mets Bark at the park
The Mets have hosted Bark at The Park games for many years. We’ll get all the details about this year’s events as soon as they become available!
Ohio
Cincinnati Reds Bark in the park
With hopes of being selected as MVP (Most Valuable Pet!) in a forever family, adorable adoptions from the Cincinnati SPCA Foundation will be in the pet exhibit area of the Cincinnati Reds’ game Bark in the Park, will take place:
- May 22 when they face the San Diego Padres
- June 24 against the Pittsburgh Pirates
- On August 12, when the team faced St. Louis Cardinals
- September 18, when the team plays the Atlanta Braves
Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh Pirates Puppy Night at PNC Park
Dogs and their companions can cheer on the Pirates from a special seating area during 11 Puppy Night games!
- April 23–vs. Milwaukee Brewers
- May 7– vs. Los Angeles Angels
- May 21–vs. San Francisco Giants
- June 4–vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
- June 18–vs. Cincinnati Reds
- July 2– vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- July 23– vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- August 6–vs. San Diego Padres
- August 27–vs. Chicago Cubs
- September 10–vs. Miami Marlins
- September 24 – The Pirates wrap up their dog-friendly games in 2024 by taking on the team from their first Pup Night of the season, the Milwaukee Brewers
Guardian Angels service dogs will receive a $2 donation from every Pup Night ticket sold this season.
Texas
Houston Astros Dog Day
Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Rover can cheer on the Astros from a specific area on September 1. Details about the upcoming game have yet to be announced.
Texas Rangers Tree bark in the park
Pet parents and their pups can cheer on the Rangers together when the team takes on the Angels on August 16.
Washington
Seattle Marines Tree bark in the park
The Mariners will participate in two- and four-foot baseball games for six Bark at the Park games:
- April 29, when they face the Atlanta Braves
- May 29, when they face the Houston Astros
- June 10, vs. Chicago White Sox
- July 2, when they play the Baltimore Orioles
- August 7, when they play the Detroit Tigers
- September 12, when they play the Texas Rangers
Dogs and their humans can cheer on their favorite teams from designated Bark at the Park area, which will include comfort stations, a waste treatment management team and water station for our canine friends.
After playing the game, tailgaters can tap into their inner sports star by strolling around the bases.

Washington DC
Washington Citizen Puppies in the park presented by Budweiser
A team in its own league when it comes to helping animals in need, the National Team invites sports fans and their Fidos to six Pups in the Park games in 2024:
- against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 5 (a day that includes a pre-game puppy parade!)
- against the Los Angeles Dodgers on April 23
- against the New York Mets on June 3
- against the Milwaukee Brewers on August 2
- against the Atlanta Braves on September 10
- against the Philadelphia Phillies on September 27
All proceeds from the game’s dog tickets benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance!
Wisconsin
Milwaukee Brewers Tree bark in the park
The Brewers will host Bark at the Park when they take on At. Louis Cardinals on May 9.
A day of fun with a greater purpose, participating dogs will not only receive a Brewers beer can squeaky toy, a portion of Bark at the Park ticket sales will go to the Wisconsin Humane Association.
