A wildlife rehabilitator named Brigette met JB after he was discovered by a pond. Poor baby beaver is alone, with no parents around. Thankfully, Brigette took care of JB.
Brigette knew that JB had to stay in the tub as much as possible for him to get used to the water. But baby beavers hate that! But Brigette, who understood what was best for JB, persevered and in the end, JB became obsessed with water!
As JB grew up, he began to explore Brigette’s house. He’s learned all about his new surroundings – and is madly in love with blankets. In fact, Brigette explains that there isn’t a blanket in her house that doesn’t have a baby beaver sucker on it.
Soon it’s time for JB to leave where the beaver belongs. To my surprise, a couple nearby who actually built a pond for a living wanted to adopt JB. But when JB arrives at his new home, he wants nothing to do with the pond built just for him. Brigette was devastated. JB’s story is far from over. The best part is just a click away!
