The spy photographer took a facelifted Audi Q7 2024 is undergoing winter testing, and through the camouflage we can see some minor cosmetic tweaks.
As seen in former spy picturesAudi has camouflaged the front and rear bumpers as well as the side panels.
The latest spy example has lost its swirling camouflage, but the black tape still conceals some details.
We can spot updated headlights and taillights, while the grille has also been refreshed with a flatter octagonal design.
New Audi 2D . logo also seems to feature on the grille.
We can see redesigned front and rear bumpers, while the camouflage at the rear seems to hide a more prominent diffuser.
The exhaust will also have a slimmer square design.
While we can’t see inside the updated model, the Q7 could get an updated infotainment system and a different steering wheel design.
It’s unclear if there will be any changes to the Q7’s powertrain.
Audi currently offers a range of turbocharged petrol and turbocharged V6 engines in the Q7, as well as a twin-turbo V8 petrol engine in the sporty SQ7.
In other markets, it is also offered with a turbocharged V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Audi is preparing to go all-electric by 2033 in all markets except China.
According to previous reports, the next generation Q7 will be one of the last internal combustion engine-powered vehicles the German automaker will produce.
Previous reports suggested that the next-generation Q7 could launch in 2025 and that in the same year, Audi could also launch the Q9 to top it and the Q8.
The current generation Q7 first debuted in 2015 and saw its first upgrade in 2020.
For 2020, Audi updated the Q7’s headlights and taillights, bumpers, and grille, and revised the dashboard to accommodate two touchscreens.
Last year, Audi sold 1205 Q7s, outperforming BMW X5 (sales 3111), Mercedes GLE wagon (3093 sales) and Land Rover Defender (1623 sales).
