Attack on Titan 10th Anniversary Project Announced


The year 2023 marks 10-year anniversary of the release of Attack the giant cartoon adaptation. This coincides with the fourth and final season of the anime coming to an end in Fall of 2023. To celebrate the series’ decade-long anniversary, a number of events and collaborations will be held across Japan. A promotional video celebrating the series’ legacy and announcing the 10th anniversary events was also released. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

There are total Friday announcements made as part of Attack the giant 10 year anniversary. The first is a special event that will be held at K-Arena Yokohama on January 27-28, 2024. Actors and artists will appear as special guests. The second announcement was the public recording of episode 100 of “Attack the giant Radio: Kaji and Shimono’s Advance! Radio station.” A third season covering a collaboration with popular Sanrio character Gudetama has been announced, as Gudetama is also celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The fourth announcement is a reissue of popular items and merchandise, including items from seasons 1 and 2 of the anime. Next, a commemorative tree planting ceremony will be held around 2023 in Hita City, Kyushu, Hajime Isayama’s hometown.
