Apple reveals details about iPad OLED, Apple Pencil features miniaturization with iPadOS 17.5 update

New iPad identifier
The firmware reveals four new iPad identifiers – iPad16.3, iPad16.4, iPad16.5, iPad16.6 – indicating variations in size and connectivity options. It is expected that these identifiers correspond to the two sizes and connection types of iPad Pro – Wi-Fi and Cellular.

Interestingly, the firmware hints at the adoption of OLED display technology on these new iPad Pros. This is in line with previous rumors and signals a significant leap in display quality and performance.
