MLB Competitive E-Sports Season 22 begins with the Summer Circuit.

With an updated format, new platforms to play, and additional winning opportunities, there are more reasons than ever to test your skills and show off your Diamond Dynasty roster. Summer Race

The Show 22 Summer Circuit’s competitive cross-platform MLB is available to over 13s in the United States and Canada, across all PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms. This year, the Summer Circuit has four open qualifiers. The top 16 qualifying players from each qualifier will then compete in the Grand Finals for a total of $25,000 and more.

Those who did not make the top 16 in the first attempt may retry in any remaining Qualifiers.

Schedule:

  • Qualifier 1: May 21-22
  • Qualifier 2: May 28-29
  • Qualifier 3: June 4-5
  • Qualifier 4: June 11-12
  • Finals: June 18-19

On Day 1 of each Summer Qualifier, all players will compete in an open ladder format. Competitors may line up at any time during the eight-hour period, but must complete six games of three innings for their points to count. For each win the player earns one point and for each loss the player loses one point. The top 64 players (plus ties) will enter Day Monday.

On Monday, the top 64 players (plus draws) will compete in a knockout format with nine innings games. Every player who reaches Day 2 will receive at least 11,000 MLB The Show Stubs.

Open Qualifier Awards:

  • 1st place: 1,050,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 2nd place: 600,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 3rd place – 4: 300,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 5th Place – 8: 150,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 9th – 16th place: 67,500 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 17th – 32nd place: 24,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 33rd – 64th place: 11,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • Each player who completes the minimum number of games (6) will receive 11,000 Stubs, win or lose.

The final round will take place from June 18 to 19. Day one will feature a knockout with the top 64 players from the four Open Qualifiers.

On Monday, watch the final four competitors compete on San Diego Studio’s Twitch channel for 1st place, bringing in $15,000!

Final Prize:

  • 1st place: $15,000 USD
  • 2nd place: $5,000 USD
  • 3rd place: $3,000 USD
  • 4th place: $2,000 USD
  • 5th Place – 8: 150,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 9th – 16th place: 67,500 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 17th – 32nd place: 24,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs
  • 33rd – 64th place: 11,000 MLB The Show 22 Stubs

The top 3 players will also win an autographed Shohei Ohtani jersey and baseball set, a gift certificate for the MLB Shop and an authentic baseball used in the MLB 2022 home Derby.

Tournament Tips

When warming up for your competition, make sure you’re practicing hitting and pitching on the Legend difficulty set for your tournament. Once you start doing that, you’re on your way to a better competition day:

  • Supercharged is the latest increase in MLB The Show 22. If a real life player has a great game, there is a chance his card could be Supercharged in MLB The Show 22 ***, increasing his stats. his exponential in 48 hours! Super powerful players can add the edge your team needs to take the lead.
  • Hand-eye coordination is key in tournaments. In the upgraded “Practice Mode” you can not only start practicing hitting the ball, but you can now also practice basic punching and running, allowing for more preparation.
