One of them, Inspector Paul Saraceno, served as second-in-command of the Special Victims Division. He lost 30 days of leave after admitting to abusing Police Department time and submitting the wrong time card.

Saraceno was appointed executive officer of the Special Victims Division in 2017, when the city’s Bureau of Investigation began looking into complaints about the Police Department’s handling of rape cases. After that investigation concluded that the Special Victims Division was “understaffed and under-resourced”, Saraceno promotion from deputy inspector. Maybe you missed the article “Five counties, five days, one question” over the weekend. As I read it, I had two questions of my own: How do my colleagues Dodai Stewart came up with the idea of visiting a county for one day, just in time for a five-day workweek – and how many miles did she walk?
So I asked her.
“It looks like it’s just lined up — five days a week, five counties,” she said.

The first apartment my fiancé and I shared was a 428 square foot studio on the 4th floor of a building at 34 and Park. During our youth abandonment phase, we invited 20 friends to a Diwali party – and they all accepted.
When night falls, music, the aroma of fresh food, the sound of jingling glasses and joyful laughter begin to fill the small space. The first three guests sat side by side on our folding mattress. The fourth person claims the desk chair.
With 15 guests, we had a great idea to move the desk into the bathtub. That created space for three people.
At this point, guests were already sitting in clusters on the floor. Some come in groups of two or three, holding beer while sitting cross-legged and chatting. The others sat in the corner, with their backs against the wall and their legs straight.
It was fun, but it was also clear that we invited too many people. The bell rang again. I opened the door, but I couldn’t think of a place to put five more coats and room for five more. Then one of our friends asked if we could move the couch out into the hallway.
Our apartment was the last one at the end of the hallway, and our nearest neighbors were all at the party, so why not? And that’s how a great evening continued.
