Ireland is one of the friendliest places on earth, not just to say hello, shake hands, tell a story or have a beer at the pub. It offers a special welcome to camera-carriers.
From the tunes and bustle of Dublin to the soul-satisfying sea view from the Moher mists, Ireland generously rewards the camera with a feast of colour, tranquil beauty, human warmth and open heart. The old ways are still maintained, such as cutting the peatlands into strips to dry and burn. The lilt of music is ever present. Add a little Jameson’s, and being there is simply a delight for the heart, soul, and lens.
We go next year! miracle Tamara Lackey and i teach a workshop starts in Dublin city center and then heads west to the historic city of Galway, set amid the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, right next to the famous Burren landscape, and home to pubs, restaurants, and pubs. beautiful rows and of course, Irish dancers.

Big shout out with awesome Galway based photo Sean McCormack who brought his flash to help take this photo early one morning on the street. (Yep, I didn’t have flash, to my eternal shame 😉 We’ll work with Siobhan and fellow dancers from Irish Dance Experience during the workshop, gave us a chance to take pictures of their amazing skills and also gave our group a special surprise. Definitely a prank!
