Directed by acclaimed director Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions, Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films, Uunchai quickly rose to fame thanks to its original concept and cast. The story revolves around three old friends Who decided to go on a hike to Everest Base Camp, to fulfill their fourth friend’s dying wish. The story is both an adventure and an emotional journey where they test their physical limits to honor a lifelong friendship.
In addition to Bachchan, the film also stars seasoned veterans Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Sarika and Parineeti Chopra. The film received rave reviews for the performance of the cast, direction, script, and cinematography.
The trailer of the movie was posted by YRF YouTube channel and it has garnered over 2.7 million views, 57,000 likes and over a thousand comments.
