Sophia Brown Brings Great Vocals to the Witcher Universe

Scian, played by Michelle Yeoh, is currently having such a moment. What was it like working with her?

We’re talking about projects she’s worked on in the past. I thought we were talking about clothes, and in the conversation, she said, “I’m shooting this movie, and we have to do a part of it on green screen,” and I said, “Oh yeah What is that movie? ” She said, “It was a movie with a sausage finger.” In my mind, I was like, “Sausage fingers? Okay, what B-rated movie is this?” I only watch it when I go to see it Everything Anywhere All At Once, and when I saw the sausage fingers, I gasped! I texted her (I call her Mom Michelle), and I said, “Mother Michelle, you just inspired me again. I can not believe it.” I knew before she was selected it was an honor and privilege to witness her work and work with her. Then to be able to really go through that process and learn a lot from her personally and professionally, that’s great. And when I saw her accepting my flowers, I just said, “Wow, what a wonderful position to be able to witness someone I now consider a friend… get her moment. at her age.” It is just unbelievable. I love it.

Next you have the limited series Russell T Davies you and me. It’s a contemporary love story focusing on three different characters. Can you tell me about your character Jess and what made you curious about the project?

Right after doing The Witcher: Blood Origin, I wanted something quite simple and subtle. It’s a much smaller world, and you have a little insight into these two, and it came at the perfect time. [My character] Jess, we found her in a place where she was trying to figure out what to do in London. She has a strong sense of self, but she doesn’t know what she wants to do. And she meets Ben, a man who changes the direction of her life. We get to witness small moments of how their relationship is developing and where they are going. I’m intrigued because I haven’t seen a lot of stories in London trying to get to grips with the pocketbook of life when you graduate from college, and you don’t really know what you want to do, and you have some sort of degree. , but you’re broke, and you’re living in this capital city, where everything is on offer, but it just doesn’t seem to be for you, which I think happens to a lot of people. And you can meet someone, and you snuggle together, and they become your person, and they become closer to you than your family, and you create this little pocket in your own world. yourself, and you are obsessed with it. I really understood that from the script when I first read it, and I really wanted to be the creator of the bag of the world.

In terms of fashion and beauty, you seem to be someone who enjoys dressing up.

I love fashion. I don’t necessarily say I know all designers, but it’s an extension of my creativity, from the color of my nails to my socks. However, how I feel one day, I like to wear it and let that be an extension of my mood. That’s what was so much fun as well. Working on these projects and promoting them, I was able to play with my identity in many different ways. I was introduced to different designers from stylists or looking for ideas for character costumes or something like that. So yeah, I definitely love fashion. It’s a theme in my art.

The Witcher: Blood Origin currently streaming on Netflix.
