Amanda Serrano was unable to play in the homecoming match in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday that was scheduled to be televised live on DAZN. “It is my unfortunate duty to announce,” the ring announcer told the crowd, “that due to circumstances beyond both fighters’ control, tonight’s main event has been cancelled. ” Serrano, who wore sunglasses in the ring, was clearly emotional. She said: “The doctor did not examine me because I had a problem with my eyes. “The doctor won’t let me fight and I want to fight in front of my people.”
As disappointing as events inevitably turned out, Jake Paul was able to please San Juan fans, albeit briefly. Ryan Bourland stepped into the ring with dreams of shocking the world earlier in the evening. However, his opponent, Paul, had his own plan – namely to stop Bourland and stop Bourland impressively. And indeed, the cruiser did just that. Paul went into the body well the first time. He also uses an effective jab. Needless to say, this strategy immediately paid off for Paul. Less than two minutes into the round, Bourland was injured and wobbled on the floor. And, before half-time had a chance to end, the referee intervened and wisely saved Bourland from further punishment.
