Indeya Rodriguez, the newly married super fly, took on Miyo Yoshida in an eight-round match scheduled for Thursday night. The match was an exciting part of the premiere of Broadway Boxing on the DAZN streaming service and was televised live from Manhattan’s Sony Hall. Rodriguez is definitely the game. Moreover, the fighter delivered an impressive stab. However, it seems that in the first four innings, Japan’s Yoshida was the more dominant in the two innings.

Make no mistake about it, Rodriguez fought well, but it was Yoshida who forced action through what appeared to be massive and perhaps overwhelming power in the middle of the match. However, it was Rodriguez who shot down her enemy in the penultimate seventh round. Rodriguez continued to fight in the eighth round, although Yoshida could have been the one to deliver cleaner punches. In the end, Yoshida stepped out of the ring with a decisive victory.

“With this, I can go one step further towards achieving my goals and dreams,” said Yoshida (via translator) after debuting in the US. Japanese fighters now call New York home.
