At a Las Vegas gala, hosted by the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation, the host Shaquille O’Neal expressed her support for Levine following the public backlash over the scandal.

“Adam was a friend of mine from a long time ago,” he said. “I always say to myself, you know, I can’t be a hypocrite. Now, I’m not the greatest husband in the world, so it’s just because I have a big platform right now. now don’t give me the right to judge others.. He’s great, he’s doing something for the kids, he’s always been. I’m happy for him. And I wish him luck.”
