That price puts it in interesting territory. For example, it’s more expensive and stronger than one audi S3but it costs less and generates less energy than RS3. Things get more interesting when you start looking at other cars for roughly the same amount, such as NISANZ, M240iand Ford Mustang GT.
But you get a lot of goodies for that $52,000 price tag. Starting with the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 320 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Acura says that’s an increase of 120 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque over the standard Integra. In response to enthusiasts, the Integra Type S is only available with one six speed manual gearbox. Other performance features include an adaptive damper system for performance tuning shock absorbers, front Brembo brakes, and 19-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/30 R19 summer tires.
Inside, Have heated front sport seats, 10.2-inch driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, and 16 speakers ELS Studio 3D sound system.
If you’re interested, Acura will open limited reservations for the first 200 cars. Starting May 11 at 10 p.m. PST, customers can visit Acura.com/Integra to reserve their seats before the Integra Type S officially begins production next month.
