If that model is correct, aim for 1.5 degrees in Paris Agreement which calls on countries to take concerted action to reduce emissions of endangered greenhouse gases.

abstract
Food consumption is a major source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and assessing its future warming impact is important to guide climate mitigation action. However, the reporting of food item emissions is lacking in detail and the widespread use of oversimplified indicators such as CO2 Equivalents have complicated explanations. We address these challenges by developing a gas-disaggregated global stock of food-consumption GHG emissions, and using a reduced complexity climate model, which assesses the interrelated contribution regarding future warming and the potential benefits from certain mitigation measures. We found that global food consumption alone could add almost 1°C to warming by 2100. 75% of this warming is due to methane-rich foods (animal meat) ruminants, milk and rice). However, more than 55% of the projected warming could be avoided from simultaneous improvements to manufacturing practices, universal adoption of healthy diets, and reduction of food waste at the human level. consumer and retail.

In my opinion, based on my personal experience, the forced transition to a vegetarian diet kills a lot of people.
Some time ago, I had a personal health crisis – I was gaining too much weight and my blood pressure was climbing to dangerous levels.
I have to lose weight or suffer the consequences. But how does a longtime fat person lose weight and lose weight?
My doctor says “meat is your friend”. Some of my friends say “I am skinny because I eat meat and very few vegetables”.
I tried – and it worked. I have lost a lot of weight, all my health indicators are back in green or at least out of the red zone.
Meat works for me because I don’t feel hungry, which is the downside of all the other diets I’ve tried over the years. I eat as much meat as I want and still lose weight. The only rule I have to follow is to avoid high-carb foods, avoid potatoes, bread, corn, and pasta (OK, maybe I break the rule once or twice a week – but not every day like I do. used to).
So, my response to anyone asking me to give up my life for health and happiness, one diet out of all the diets I tried and ended up doing. bearing results, a diet that is also helping some of my friends, to prevent a bad degree of global warming by the end of this century, can you eliminate the concern about gas? my post… I think you know the rest of that phrase. And I suspect that a lot of people in my situation would feel the same way.
