Will Aaron Rodgers return to the Pack? Run again Aaron Jones thinks so.
Amid much speculation that the quarterback may have played his final season with the Packers, Rodgers’ backyard teammate, Jones believes it is “to his heart” that Rodgers will return to Green Bay next year. 2022.
Speaking on “NFL Total Access”, Jones weighed in and made a few predictions about Rodgers’ future:
“I heard what everyone else was hearing, what they were reading,” Jones said Tuesday. “But I think he will be there, in my heart. Green Bay – I can’t imagine him anywhere else, that’s where he’s spent his entire career. I just can’t picture him. it’s anywhere else.
“I think we’ve had a lot of fun this year, I hope to have him back and I believe in my heart he will.”

The “fun” part can be subjective: While the Packers hit a 13-4 regular-season record, Green Bay was beaten by the 49ers in the playoffs, ending another Super Bowl season.
To be fair, Rodgers has more than once said he has a lot of fun in 2021, going as far as to say he had “the time of his life” this past season.
The season drama centered around Rodgers’ position with the Packers persisted for much of 2021, before Rodgers and the Green Bay front office modified to keep QB in Green Bay at least a season ago.
Several reports indicated that Rodgers and his Packers teammates overlooked the regrets, with coach Matt LaFleur saying after the end of the season that he hoped to keep Rodgers wearing the Packers uniform.
