There are certain dates on the NBA calendar that every general manager could have circled.
December 15th is one of those days.
Why? This is the first time that many players signed during the past season are eligible to be traded. It doesn’t apply to everyone who recently signed a new deal – John Collins, Duncan Robinson and Derrick Rose are among those unable to trade until January 15 as they meet the criteria. certain will, per Hoops Gossip – but it applies to a large number of players.
As a result, teams will have fewer restrictions when it comes to combining deals that can improve their roster from December 15 onwards.

Which teams are most affected by the December 15 restriction?
According to Hoops Rumors, the teams with the most players who cannot be dealt with until December 15 are the Lakers and Heat with 9 each.
Pistons, Bulls and Nets have the second most with six players each who could not be traded before.
The only teams without any untradeable players until December 15 are the Grizzlies and Timberwolves. Timberwolves, however, have Two players – Jordan McLaughlin and Jarred Vanderbilt – who cannot trade until January 15.
