Coming to you from Park CameraThis amazing video tutorial will show you everything you need to know about using shutter speed to control your photos creatively and technically. If I had to give a new photographer advice on shutter speed, it would simply be to prioritize your shutter speed over ISO; in other words, don’t be afraid to increase the ISO to maintain a fast enough shutter speed. A lot of photographers often use slower shutter speeds in an attempt to keep the ISO lower for better image quality. However, while you can always deal with noise in post-production, there isn’t much that can be done to save images that are blurred due to camera shake or subject movement caused by a slow shutter speed. Sharp and noisy is always better than blurry and clean. Check out the video above for the full recap.
