You may wonder if Delta is being offensive or even condescending. You may also wonder why the airline would consider such moves.
Well, it seems Delta is most unhappy with the bad publicity caused by its long queues. It was strange, because the long lines did wonders to polish the image of apple store.

It seems that Delta simply chose to offend a lot of the middle class — the aspirants, the frugal, the daredevils. Indeed, is there anything worse than promising some benefit and then taking it away, just like that?
Perhaps the only final solution is to be extremely draconian. Limit it to a very, very, very elite few and leave everyone else wondering what goes on behind your opaque doors. Dance troupe? Exclusive star show?
Oh, and pay back existing Sky Club members.
It seems Delta is aiming to completely redefine exclusivity.
This can leave a frequent passenger or two wondering: Is it really worth it?
