“Touch-And-Go” Pibble At Death’s Door sniffs her first ice cream cone
An emaciated, helpless Pit Bull was found alone in the woods. She was left with only skin and bones. Her condition was so bad that rescuers named her Halo in case she didn’t make it through. She was found curled up in the brush. It was as if she was waiting to die. The poor girl has some eye problems and minor injuries on her body. Rescuers had to act quickly. They put chains around her and led her out of the woods and into their car.
Halo needs a loving nurturer willing to focus on healing the puppy, both emotionally and physically. Fortunately, the rescue team found a medical foster home with Stacey. Despite having “a few touch and move moments”, as the video’s narrator explains, Pibble is definitely a fighter! She definitely has the will to live! Upon arrival at the veterinary clinic, the doctor confirmed that Halo was completely blind. She needs a special home with a family that accepts her challenges.
As Halo’s health improved, the rescue team transported Halo north to find her a permanent home. She got out of the truck and gave everyone she met lots of kisses. Even the van driver was a little emotional. What a little love bug! Halo arrives at a home with another foster group and waits for a family. She stabilizes right away and can move around without bumping into anything.
The puppy’s new friends love to take her on adventures. Halo especially loves going to McDonald’s for special treats. At the time the video was shot, she had not yet been adopted. But it’s rumored that, with all the great attention on social media, Halo has her happily ever after. Wait until you see this beautiful girl’s transformation and full story in the video below.
