Commonwealth Games 2022 Day 4 live updates: India’s women’s quarterfinal semi-final on grass field has begun. They are facing New Zealand in the match. After winning two gold medals on day 3 of the event, India will put on a show of spirit between the disciplines on day four. Jeremy Lalrinnuga took the gold for India in the 67kg weightlifting before Achinta Sheuli starred in the 73kg to claim a second gold for the nation on the same day. Earlier on the 2nd, Mairabai Chanu won the gold medal in the 49 kg category, which is India’s first achievement in the ongoing Olympics. On Sunday, the Indian men’s hockey team also kicked off its campaign with an 11-0 win over Ghana. They will face England today. Meanwhile, boxer Amit Panghal will also launch today. Interestingly, India has won a total of six medals so far and all have been won by weightlifters.
