Rivian on Thursday confirmed plans for a second factory, to be built in Georgia starting next summer and has the capacity to produce electric trucks by 2024. The $5 billion plant could produce 400,000 vehicles a year — compared with the Illinois plant’s 200,000 — once scaled up. .
The 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets increased range—Up to 314 miles in rear-wheel drive California Route 1 guise, or the even more remarkable 312 in all-wheel drive form. Accompanying that is an increase in the range of uses for the battery pack.
