Instagram has its perks. One of them is the social communities that you quickly become a part of — through your profession or hobby — and through which friendships are made. Creative journalist and consultant Kelly Talamas is one of the coolest and coolest friends I’ve made on social media. Honestly, I can’t pinpoint how we first interacted on Instagram, but we connected and clicked. She calls the three Latin capitals home — Mexico City, Bogotá, and Panama City — and currently advises a wide range of clients, including Chanel, Silvia Tcherassi and Polo Ralph Lauren. Last year, she debuted Latina platform that highlights the talent and diversity of the region through its advertisements.
