Having trouble switching lenses on your brand new Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera? You’re not alone.
Nikon has issued a “Technical service consulting” give camera Z9 due to performance issues with the lens release button on some devices. According to the company, the button may not allow full rotation and release of the lens, and blames the problem on substandard quality.
It is unknown how many individual cameras may experience this technical problem. However, Nikon is offering a full paid service (including shipping) for each affected device. You can tell if your Z9 camera is eligible for repair by checking serial number on this dedicated website.
