5 companies are hiring right where you can bring your dog to work

So much has changed over the past few years, including, for many people, spending more time at home with their pets. And while pet parents — new and seasoned — are starting to leave the house more often, their bond with their pets is stronger than ever.

Based on a recent study of Rover, 67% of pet parents have welcomed a new dog into their family during the pandemic (with millennials leading the pack). This fact alone has the potential to fundamentally change the priorities of pet parents. It can also change how society will adapt in response.

With more people returning to the office, those pet parents are increasingly looking for dog-friendly companies to work for. 58% of pet parents said they had changed jobs since March 2020, and nearly a third (29%) said their dog was a factor in this decision.

Pet parents aren’t just looking for a place to watch their dogs during the day — nearly half (46%) believe having a dog in the office improves workplace morale. In addition, 35% of employees with pets believe that office dogs enhance communication and improve working relationships among team members.

Many workplaces are adapting their policies to meet this need, including Top 100 dog-friendly companies. If you’re looking for a job where you can bring your dog to work, here are some highly rated dog-friendly businesses (which may also be hiring).
