I have always been one of those who love perfumes and perfume. Usually, when we talk about cherries on a dress, people think of great shoes or a pair of sunglasses, those are important parts of the outfit, don’t get me wrong, but cherries actually at the top is a wonderful fragrance. Your scent says a lot about you as well as your clothing choices. I love perfume so much that I always carry a travel-sized bottle of perfume in my purse everywhere I go. I am also a believer in perfume mixing. Some brands, such as Jo Malone London, are designed to mix and match with their entire scent collections. Personally, I like the combination of Wood Sage & Sea Salt mixed with English Pear & Freesia. I am currently wearing a mix of Rose 31 from Le Labo and Miss Dior Absolute Blooming. They balance each other very well, with Le Labo slightly smoky and masculine while Dior is light and sweet.
Some perfumes attract the attention of fragrance lovers and became a cult favorite. Some of the things that come to mind are Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge or Le Labo’s Santal 33. Now, whenever I hear about a new perfume that people can’t ignore, I have to judge for myself. I have high standards when it comes to perfumes and I need to really love a scent in order to spend money on it, especially when great perfumes don’t usually come cheap.
For me to Invest in the right scent, it has to check four key boxes. It has to last a long time (for me, at least five to six months), it has to be sweet but not too intense for you to mistake me for the high school cheerleader, it has to have a little smell of wood or smoke but not because of that you mistake me for someone’s grandfather, must have character, personality. I have compiled 30 fragrances that I have tried and believe are worthy of the hype and have earned the title of “most loved perfume”, including all of my current favorites. lying on my dressing table as I write this.
