Porsche keep putting it all electric Macan through the steps at the Nurburgring, although it’s not yet 2024.

Our spy photographers captured three camouflage prototypes of Macan EVs at the Nurburgring, one of which features unusual add-ons on the wheelbase and rear diffuser.
It’s unclear exactly what these foam pads are for, but it could potentially be used to test noise or aerodynamics.
It remains unclear how many electric motors the Macan EV will have, or power and torque figures.
The electric SUV will be “the sportiest model in its segment“, according to Porsche research and development executive member, Dr. Michael Steiner.
Porsche also prioritized long-distance range and high-performance fast charging during the development of the Macan EV.
Like TaycanAs Porsche’s first all-electric model, the Macan EV will use an 800V electric architecture.
As previously noted, there are two front bumper designs on the Porsche Macan EVs, indicating a different front-end styling to the regular Macan EV and the expected more powerful model called the Turbo.
At the front, all prototypes have a two-stage headlamp design, with the upper block consisting of four LED daytime running lights and the lower set containing the main light and high beam.
There is also a large lower air intake.
The main difference between the regular model and the Turbo model is the side air intakes. The regular model has trapezoidal side air intakes, and the sportier model has more triangular air intakes.
Around the side, there are prominent shoulders and a heavily scratched back door, the back is reminiscent of Cayenne Coupe. The third-party windows and rear pillars remain camouflaged.
The rear has a full-width light bar, an active rear spoiler and fake exhaust outlets.
While we didn’t have a look inside these specific Macan EV prototypes, previous spying examples have featured a clear Taycan-inspired dash and a curved digital instrument cluster.

There’s a shaver-style gear selector with a knot, like the Taycan’s and coming Panamera including recently been tracked.
On the center stack there are climate control toggles and capacitive touch switches. This looks like an evolution of the current, gasoline-powered Macan setup.
Essentially, the all-electric Macan is based on the new Advanced Platform Electric (PPE) architecture jointly developed by Porsche and Audi. It will also be used in Audi Q6 e-tronwas recently tracked in prototype form.
Like previous reportThe gasoline-powered Macan will still be sold alongside the all-new electric Macan for a few years to come.
The updated Porsche Macan 2022 will be available locally in mid-2022 and is available with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder in base and T trims, or a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 in the S and T trims. GTS.
