The 2024 Audi Q8 E-Tron starts at $75,495 with destination, Audi confirmed and hinted that the Q8 E-Tron will be available in at least one version capable of a 300-mile EPA range.
In addition to the base Q8 E-Tron with a regular SUV body, the lineup also includes the Q8 Sportback S-Line E-Tron with a more coupe-like Sportback body style and a base price of $78,895.
With only a modest price increase compared to the upcoming E-Tron SUV and Sportback versions, this is exactly the price Audi suggested at the time of sale. Q8 E-Tron’s first drive in a European-spec release in December.
2024 Audi Q8 E-Tron
The Q8 E-Tron feels quicker to drive than the upcoming E-Tron—mainly due to the faster steering ratio and other tuning changes. It replaces the E-Tron SUV and SportbackAudi’s first bulk all-electric models, placing them in the Q8 SUV family alongside existing petrol models.
All Q8 E-Tron models include a battery pack with a net capacity of 106 kWh—a 23% increase over the upcoming E-Tron, Audi notes. Adjustments to the battery management system allow 93% of battery capacity to be used, up from 91% previously. Audi claims the Q8 Sportback E-Tron with the optional Ultra Package achieves an EPA-estimated 300-mile range.

Faster charging is another improvement in the Q8 over the E-Tron. According to Audi’s estimates, the maximum DC fast charging speed increases from 150 kw to 170 kw, allowing for a charge from 10% to 81% in about 31 minutes. The Q8 E-Tron is also capable of AC Level 2 charging at up to 19.2 kW, which can fully charge the pack in 6.5 hours or 13 hours at 9.6 kW.
The Q8 E-Tron models are combined by Q4 E-Tron SUV and Sportback—although the Q4 family is much more about practicality than the Q8-like glamour. The E-Tron GT and its sportier RS variant remain the only sedans in Audi’s EV lineup.
