Ford informed the much-anticipated about it forest ranger and Ranger Raptor model has been pushed back a month.

“We continue to face COVID and semiconductor related supply chain challenges globally. The combination of both of these factors means there will be some wait times, but we are doing what we can to make them as short as possible,” a Ford Australia spokesperson said.
“We expect to have the first Rangers in July, with the first Raptors and Everest in August.
“We continue to communicate with our agents so they can keep our customers up to date.”
Ranger and Ranger Raptor are slated to launch in June and July, respectively Everest Moutain Next SUV in August. The timing of Monday is unchanged.

“Unfortunately, part of Q2 production volume is expected to need to be rescheduled [sic]with a detailed impact on production expected in the next two weeks. ”
“The production loss from Q2 has delayed the projected timing of the April allocation (for July production) as we assess the latest information available and currently expected on Agent status on the morning of Thursday, April 28.”
“Due to the production loss-impacted outflow from Q2, a portion of the April Dealer allocation (for July production) will now need to be dedicated to building current orders of Agents from previous allocations, reducing the number available for allocation to Dealers in April.”
Ford says China’s COVID lockdown has affected 91 suppliers and 393 unique parts used on the Ranger.

The core range starts at $35,930 before on-road costs for the standard tall rider-style XL single-cab chassis and expands to $70,190 before on-road costs for the Wildtrak with dynamics. turbo-diesel V6 engine.

Like the Ranger before it, this new generation model is designed and built for the world by Ford engineering in Australia.
It uses an updated version of the T6 architecture but makes great strides in terms of technology.
