How do you know that the virus is in retreat? When one of the highlights of the underwater photography calendar is back! Of course, we’re talking about Digital penalty shootoutwill return this summer to the fresh beaches of Bonaire.
That’s right, after a three-year hiatus, participants from around the world will once again dive into the breathtaking waters of the Dutch Caribbean, honing their underwater photography skills through dives daily seminars, use the latest imaging equipment and of course, compete for more brilliant equipment and ride prizes. The best part? It’s two full weeks (instead of a week), so participants have twice as much time to study and twice as much time to take pictures (and videos) of the prize. As usual, expert knowledge and superb camera equipment provided by Backscatter son, with contributions from great people like Erin Quigley, Hergen Spalink and Cristian Dimitrius.
The 2022 Digital Wheel takes place from June 4 to 18 and still has some highlights. Standard package includes 14 nights stay at Divi Flamingo Beach Resort; daily breakfast, lunch and dinner; and three daily dive boats plus unlimited shore diving. All you have to do is get to and from Bonaire — and buy your own wine.
