Silverado Trail Boss buyers on the market (whether it’s Custom or LT) now have a simple choice: they need to decide if they want a mini-bed or a standard bed. And, those specifically looking for a Double Cabin body style have up to five options: Work Truck (which is the cheapest and most basic Silverado), Custom, LT, RST and LTZ. The Double Cabin is offered with the standard box only.
Chevrolet charges a higher Crew Cab than a Double Cab, so the change increased the cost of the Trail Boss. Prices for a 2021 Custom Trail Boss Double Cab start at $43,395 including a $1,695 destination fee. The same truck as the Crew Cab will cost $46,895 in 2022. An interesting factor influencing pricing is that the Custom Trail Boss now comes standard with a cheap, 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. than the 4.3-liter V6 that becomes standard on 2021 trucks.
