I stand with farm all the way! Yes, it’s expensive but worth it. My daughter’s coat is absolutely amazing and it’s packed with protein so she’ll eat less in one go because she doesn’t eat fillers. Huskies are known to be herbivores. They maintain their own metabolism. I also throw in raw organ meats.

i fed my husky Purina’s professional plan and add raw meat 2-3 times a week. However, husky-specific food mixes are also good. If you’re going to be making any raw meat and vegetables (my Anubis loves carrots and broccoli), make sure you brush them right after you feed them.

I have a purebred Siberian Husky… 4 years old… and he eats a cup of Costco dry food with whole chicken or beef that I cook for him once a day. He has dry food available all day if he wants. But usually only eat at 5pm when we do. He can’t eat anything else or he runs or he doesn’t feel well. Sometimes he won’t eat for a day or two…that’s normal for that breed. But it doesn’t happen very often. He is extremely healthy! I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old. I have a friend who has a Wolf Sanctuary and he feeds them the same way.

The best advice I can give is to look at the ingredients of the food and ask yourself if you want to eat it. A lot of dog food out there is terrible, especially the big brands, purina, etc Raw is an ideal choice but not suitable for all (besides the health benefits, you’ll have less and less). We always feed Huskies by Fromm. They have grain-free dog food, made right here in the USA. The calories are high enough for our badminton balls to GROW while eating it. When we can’t find them in stores, we usually feed them Taste of the Wild or Blue Buffalo. Both have very good puppy food, as well as adult servings.

Rachel Ray chicks and brown rice, I supplemented with boiled chickpeas and carrots. He also gets a good steak from time to time. He has been very healthy since I saved him and recovered his health. He didn’t survive but we got over heartworms, hookworms, other parasites, he was shot, he’s supposed to be a little over a year old. He is almost 8 tricolor huskies with one eye blue, the other one quarter blue three quarter brown.

I love Fromm family food. I trust where they get the ingredients from. Highly recommended. When my son gets extremely stubborn I will mix up some zignature as they have a kangaroo flavor which keeps my son happy when he has anorexia but he is too fatty for his stomach so we just use it. Use it to mix with food.

Wild taste is good for huskies. They have them for puppies and adults and are good for other dogs as well. It has DHA omega 3. Try to find it through your local grocery store or buy it online. I recommend buying salmon and bison when it’s older because it’s good for their coat.

I love Merrick for a long time because hard food keeps their teeth clean but I always mix in some shredded chicken or scrambled eggs when my husky is young. Now she is a senior, she mainly needs to eat soft foods because her teeth are sensitive and her allergies are more severe so we limit raw materials or foods.

farm 100%. It is more expensive but you feed them less because it has less filler. It also means they poop less. My 50 lb boy eats 2 cups a day. They also had no recall. One rule I’ve learned is if you can buy dog food at the grocery store store, it’s a junk food.
