2.5% Interest on Route Sale for $4.6 million
A small benefit to undefeated Flight route sold for $4.6 million to dealer Freddy Seitz on November 7 to begin the November Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale.
Retired on 6 November to stand on Lane’s End farm, the 4-year-old son of Tapit is a four-time $4.5 million tier 1 winner who raced six starts for Hronis Racing, Siena Farm, breeder Jane Lyon Summer Wind Equine, West Point Thoroughbreds and Woodford Racing . He ended his career with 8 1/4 races at the November 5 Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) in Keeneland.
The winner will receive all of the rights, benefits and obligations of a co-owner by mutual agreement of the 4-year-old and that individual or entity will have access to mating seasons and a the part of livestock turnover in accordance with the ownership rate.
In addition to the Indian mare Charlie Feathered, Flightline was purchased by West Point in 2019 for $1 million from Lane’s End consignment for The Saratoga Sale, a select sale by Fasig-Tipton in Saratoga Springs, NY
Eligible bidders are allowed to check the terms of the service agreement and are then required to pre-register and establish credit with Keeneland Sales before being allowed to bid. Bidding takes place on the website, by phone and through Keeneland’s online auction platform.
