10 healthy cookbooks for the best meals this summer


Just a few days ago, I shared my top 10 All time favorite cookbook. These are the ones I watch over and over again, even though I wanted to shake hands on my dinner for next week or take on a new culinary challenge when I have guests over. They are tried and true and tested (and retested). But when I was looking for a Nutritious meal A little more erroneous on the light side of things, here are the healthy cookbooks I have on hand.

My cookbook collection is growing and always growing. I’ve stocked up heavily for the coming summer months, preparing for picnics and picnics. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s alfresco dining season, or the abundance of tomatowatermelon, eggplantstrawberries (you can get them in the photo) at the farmer’s market fill me up with the happiness of cooking my way through this season.

Not only are the pictures stunning (bright and inspiring), but the recipes demonstrate how delicious and satisfying a salad can be. A self-proclaimed “salad maniac,” Jess Damuck, recipe developer and food stylist, sought to give the overlooked course the attention they deserve.

The cookbook is a love letter to her favorite foods: fresh, vibrant ingredients that don’t care about owning or tasting anything other than what they are. Damuck is driven by what’s in season, and known as the “Bob Ross of the Salad” (her own anyway), it’s clear that a delicious dream world awaits.
