Young Dolph Shooting: Memphis police release photos of suspect in fatal shooting of rapper

The police department said it obtained surveillance video showing the suspects getting out of a white two-door Mercedes-Benz armed with a gun and approaching the rapper while he was inside the store. Police said the suspects, whose faces were partially covered, shot Young Dolph several times before fleeing the scene.

Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was killed in Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. The 36-year-old rapper is survived by two children.

The rapper was almost killed in a shooting in 2017
