Get ready for more options for your summer cruise to the Caribbean.
Princess Cruise on Friday announced plans for its largest summer deployment ever in the Caribbean in 2026, with two ships sailing to the region from Florida.
Princess said the 3,560-passenger Regal Princess and the 3,140-passenger Caribbean Princess will depart for the Caribbean in 2026 from Fort Lauderdale. Port Everglades And Port Canaveralrespectively.
The world’s fifth-largest cruise line typically docks just one ship in Florida during the summer to make trips to the Caribbean.
Caribbean Princess’ deployment to Port Canaveral is particularly notable because Princess typically only operates voyages from Florida to Port Everglades during the summer months.

The Caribbean Princess deployment will bring Princess ships closer to residents of central and northern Florida as well as southern states who want to drive to one of the company’s ships for a vacation. It will also give cruisers a new option for accessing Princess ships, as they can get to Caribbean Princess via a relatively quick transfer from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
“Princess continues to expand access to our world-class luxury experience, now operating from eight homeports in North America,” Princess President John Padgett said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “With ships now departing from both Central Florida and South Florida, setting sail on the iconic Love Boat is easier and more convenient than ever.”
Like many other cruise lines, Princess typically deploys most of its ships to Europe and Alaska during the summer. That’s because cruise lines can typically charge higher fares for trips to those areas in the summer than they can to the Caribbean. But Princess is in the middle of two new large ships for its fleet, allowing for expansion of deployments to other destinations.

Princess said Friday that its two-ship Caribbean deployment in 2026 will include itineraries to the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean and Southern Caribbean — the first time in the company’s 59-year history that it has offered sailings to all three major Caribbean regions in the summer.
The Caribbean Princess cruise from Port Canaveral will include:
- The six-night “Eastern Caribbean with Turks & Caicos” cruise will visit Nassau in the Bahamas; Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; and Grand Turk.
- The seven-night “Eastern Caribbean with Turks & Caicos” voyage visits Nassau, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Princess Cays, Princess’s private island in the Bahamas.
- The seven-night “Western Caribbean with Mexico” cruise stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico and Roatan, Honduras.
- The seven-night “Eastern Caribbean with Puerto Rico” cruise will visit San Juan, Puerto Rico; Amber Cove; and Grand Turk.
The voyage from Port Everglades on the Regal Princess will include:
- The eight-night “Southern Caribbean with ABC Islands” cruise visits Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
- The seven-night “Eastern Caribbean with Bahamas” cruise stops at Princess Cays, Amber Cove and Grand Turk.
- The seven-night “Western Caribbean with Mexico” cruise stops in Cozumel; Belize City, Belize; and Roatan.
- The seven-night “Eastern Caribbean with St. Thomas” cruise stops at Princess Cays, San Juan and St. Thomas Island.
Princess has designed the sequencing of some of its seven-night itineraries to allow customers to book consecutive sailings without having to repeat ports. These longer, 14-night sailings are called Caribbean Adventurer voyages.

Additionally, the line will offer two longer sailings in early and late summer as Caribbean Princess and Regal Princess reposition. These sailings will add a long list of port calls. Sailings include:
- The 13-night Caribbean Princess cruise departs Port Everglades on April 28, 2026, and will stop in Princess Cays, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, San Juan, Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Nassau. The cruise will end in Port Canaveral.
- The 14-night cruise on the Regal Princess departs Port Everglades on September 5, 2026, and will stop in Curacao, Aruba, Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, St. Maarten and San Juan. The cruise will end in New York.
In her announcement, Princess said members of the company Captain’s Circle Loyalty Program will receive a credit of up to $200 per cabin if they book one of the summer 2026 trips by October 31.
Customers will receive $50 per person in cruise credit for seven- to 10-night cruises. The credit increases to $100 per person for customers booking longer Caribbean Adventurer cruises. When two passengers are sailing in a cabin, there will be an additional $100 or $200 in cruise credit.
Friday’s announcement comes just three months after Princess announced plans seven-night cruise to the Southern Caribbean from San Juan in winter — something the place hasn’t seen in more than a decade.
