Yamaha just revealed an updated version of their TY-E electric prototype, with the new TY-E 2.0 featuring a new monolithic frame made of composite panels that also houses a power supply that boasts performance. than. The TY-E 2.0 uses a monolithic frame made of composite panels to contribute to lighter weight and optimum rigidity. The layout of the power supply and battery has been reviewed and revised to achieve a significantly lower center of gravity than the previous model.

Yamaha has also developed a new high-capacity battery with a higher output density and succeeded in keeping the weight gain down to about 20% while still achieving a capacity approximately 2.5 times larger than previous sample.
