Twelve weeks have fallen and six weeks are still in the regular season. Injury fault struck again last week, providing us with some valuable daily fantasy football matches to complement some higher priced investments. We’re pairing Joe Burrow with Joe Mixon as a sneaky husband to headline our Yahoo DFS Week 13 lineup. Mixon has scored a pair of touchdowns received, so it can’t be irresponsible to bet on a third connection this week.
Of course, we’ll be combining some matches to accommodate GPP tournament formats, so expect boom or bust matches to become commonplace.
Before we break down our selections, just to reiterate some key rules for Yahoo DFS. It’s basically the same as FanDuel, with TDs pass four points and Half point PPR.
The Bengals had the luxury of relying on their field match. Considering how light the Chargers chose to play the track, Burrow probably wouldn’t be asked to back down more than 40 times, but Vegas sportsbrooks opened the game with a grand total of 50.5, so the match had penalty shootout ability.

RB Joe Mixon, Bengals vs. Chargers ($34)
Mixon played quite late, scoring 23.1 fantasy points in five of his last six. The Chargers aren’t afraid to let teams commit to a run, and the Bengals aren’t afraid to offer Mixon with over 30 touches. In a game with offensive fireworks potential, Mixon would be in a great position to put on another monster show.

RB Alexander Mattison, Vikings @ Lions ($18)
Mattison’s going to be pretty rough after Dalvin Cook’s Week 12 shoulder injury, but that’s okay. In Mattison’s two games as a leader, he scored 20.0 plus points. He will return to the lead role Sunday in a match that strongly hints at a favorable running game scenario for the Vikings.

WR Diontae Johnson, Steelers vs. Ravens ($25)
Another game, another monster total goal. Johnson’s 14-year-old is marked as a peak season, and he has only been kept at number one in that division in two games this season. Raven is not a team we would normally pick, but we are more moved by the dominant goal Johnson is seeing in the Steelers offense.

WR Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers @ Seahawks ($18)
Deebo Samuel’s groin injury will open the door for the rest of the 49ers’ attack, including Aiyuk, who has played well in recent weeks. Aiyuk may not be as liberally deployed backstage as Samuel was, but he is capable of making short passes – screen, touch pass, quick ramp, etc – home in a similar fashion. on one’s own.

WR Darnell Mooney, Bears vs. Cardinals ($17)
No Allen Robinson, no problem. Mooney has emerged as the Bears’ top cashier even with Robinson on the roster, and he’s just rubber stamping that new reality. He has scored 30 goals in the past three weeks and scored at least 15.0 fantasy points in each. Mooney will be a solid play regardless of which midfielder is at centre-back, and it doesn’t matter if Robinson (hamstring) is on the opposite side of the squad.

TE Mark Andrews, Ravens @ Steelers ($22)
Andrews is one of the very few tight players playing well right now. He’s seen 38 goals in the past four weeks and finished with double-digit fantasy scores in three of those competitions. Considering the condition of the location, you should pay a little for a high-quality option.

FLEX Odell Beckham Jr., Rams vs Jaguars ($19)
The few weeks have done a lot of good for Beckham and the Rams, at least in terms of incorporating wide receiver into fouls. He played 61 times in just 15 in Week 10 and turned 10 goals into an imaginary 5-81-1 and 16.6-point in Week 12. This passing game is still centered around Cooper Kupp, but a tighter lockdown would be good for the Rams and fantasy owners.

DEF Rams vs Jaguars ($17)
The Rams have been bullied for three consecutive games – all lost – but the home game against the Jaguars is a recipe for resurgence. Jags is ranked No. 25 in Offensive DVOA, so that’s a point for us to bet on a talented Rams defensive unit.
