Week 12 bye bye to Kansas City and Arizona, Thanksgiving and the Sunday and Monday night casual games will take 10 teams off our main vehicle. If you’re watching, that leaves just 20 teams playing in our Yahoo DFS Week 12 lineup. Since we’re playing in GPP tournaments, a lot of our picks are naturally boom or bust. We’d rather shell out big money than make “safe” picks and end up with a roster that can’t afford to pay big if things go right.
We love the idea of spending big on our backyard and WR1 and pairing those guys up with some undervalued sleepers. This is a common strategy in the GPP tournament format.
Before we break down our selections, just to reiterate some key rules for Yahoo DFS. It’s basically the same as FanDuel, with TDs pass four points and Half point PPR.
Main Sunday, $200 budget, no more than six players from the same team.

QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers vs. Rams ($27)
There was no secret sauce or bold consideration when we brought Rodgers into this position. He hit an imaginary 33.5, a performance he is unlikely to repeat this week, but he has crossed the 20-point barrier five times this season. The Rams are no cupcakes, but Rodgers is a future Hall of Fame for a reason.

RB Joe Mixon, Bengals vs Steelers ($27)
Mixon turned a whopping 30 for a fantasy 24.3, the third time in four games he’s surpassed the benchmark of 23.0. The Steelers are traditionally stingy against running, but the volume is on Mixon’s side. He’s had three games with five or more goals, so the Bengals have plenty of ways to get Mixon’s ball if open runs are hard to come by.

RB James Robinson, Jaguars vs. Falcons ($27)
Robinson is still trying to regain the form that has led to three fantasy 20-plus performances in a row earlier this season, and with the Falcons’ recent run, another streak could begin this week. With the defeat in the past two matches, Robinson continues to find the final point. He will be a threat to find paydirt again on Sunday in addition to high quality production in the yardage department.

WR Chris Godwin, Buccaneers @ Colts ($28)
Godwin hit a good fantasy 16.2 despite hitting only a modest six goals last week, but he has scored kills in three of his past four. The Colts team is hot, taking three wins on the spin and five out of six. Still, the Bucs boast DVOA-based league-leading offensive power, and Godwin is a sure bet to deliver another solid performance.

WR Diontae Johnson, Steelers @ Bengals ($23)
Johnson has dominated goals, earning 13 in five of his past seven games. These aren’t low-calorie opportunities either – he owns an average of 12.7 yards in that span. With so many high-quality looks heading his way on a weekly basis, he was an easy pick to include in our lineup this week. The Steelers aren’t shy about using their receivers on designed runs either, so there’s usually an extra opportunity or two to play big.

WR Brandin Cooks, Texans vs. Jets ($13)
Call us crazy, but we’re calling the Cooks back. Last week’s lackluster effort could be explained by bad weather and heavy game scenarios. The Jets aren’t likely to force a furnace, but the Cooks have scored at least 15.7 fantasy points and hit 11 plus goals on four occasions. We didn’t get to see his final successes this season.

TE Kyle Pitts, Falcons @ Jaguars ($20)
The Falcons have completely dominated in each of their previous two games, so they will be eager to remove that sour taste from their palette. Pitts play a big role in their ability to do that. He’s been a bit quiet at the end of the year – fighting Bill Belichick and the Patriots didn’t help – but this is a great spot for him to reintroduce himself as one of the game’s most dynamic offensive weapons. play.

FLEX (RB) AJ Dillon, Packers vs. Rams ($21)
While Dillon doesn’t live up to the fantasy work we all want, he still plays sensibly. He averaged 4.8 yards per 11 serves and scored on all six of his goals. Dillon presents a sneaky deterrent to Rodgers, especially considering the attention defensive No. 1 Davante Adams will draw from the Rams’ Jalen Ramsey. Dillon can spawn on the ground, in the air and in the red zone, and he’s a sure bet to deliver a meaty score on Sunday.

DEF Texas vs. Jets ($14)
Rolling with the Texans here is like picking the man on the jet who will start Zach Wilson, as it is to recognize the recent run the Texans have been enjoying. Their fantasy output over the past two weeks (31 points) far exceeds the number of points they have surrendered to the opponent (30). They also fired the midfielder six times and generated 10 sales in that period.
