As part of the MIX Indie Showcase, the cyberpunk volleyball game Hyper Gunsport was announced and will be “coming soon” on Nintendo Switch.
As showcased in the video above, the game focuses on 2v2 volleyball matches, where you use your gun to shoot the ball towards your opponent, with the aim of scoring a point through colored targets. at either end of the field – appropriate Wind jacket Style!
Two-man teams consisting of a “Striker” and a “Goalkeeper” – Strikers focus on attacking play, and can move and jump but have fewer shots. Goalkeepers stand still in front of goal, but have more shots and a wider range of goals for better defence. You can choose to play in one of seven locations, each with their own unique game gimmick.
Hyper Gunsport also boasts an impressive range of accessibility options, including the ability to enable aim assist, adjust the length of your laser sight, slow down the game, and even disable it completely. Full background to aid visibility.
