Wimbledon men’s singles semi-final live update vs Cameron Norrie: Novak Djokovic beats Cameron Norrie early in third set

Live update of Wimbledon 2022 semi-finals: Novak Djokovic breaks Cameron Norrie early in the third set, with a 1-1 draw. Novak Djokovic took a one-set lead after breaking Cameron Norrie to lead the second set 6-3. Norrie previously had her first blood after taking the first set 6-2 against Novak Djokovic in the ongoing Wimbledon men’s singles semifinal. Notably, Norrie and Djokovic have only played once before, at the ATP Finals last November, where the Serbian player lost only 3 matches. Six-time champion Djokovic made a brilliant comeback in the quarterfinals, after losing the first two sets to Jannik Sinner. Djokovic won the match with a score of 5-7. 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2. Similarly, Norrie also scored her spot in the semifinals after beating David Goffin in a five-set thriller. Norrie could become the second British male tennis player to reach the Wimbledon final in the open era, after former champion Andy Murray. The winner of this match will go to Nick Kyrgios, who came up against Rafael Nadal after the two-time champion withdrew from the match due to injury. The final will take place on Sunday, July 10.
